No Other Land won in 2024 the Oscar as Best Documentary. The film was recorded between 2019 and 2023 and shows the destruction of a Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank , which had been resisting forced displacement after an Israeli "firing zone" was declared on their land (From Wikipedia).
If you are interested, let's meet on Monday 7th July at 19:00 at the Brotfrabrik (Bonner Kinemathek, Kreuzstraße 16), at 19:15 we will enter the venue to find good seats. Afterwards, we could grab a beer somewhere nearby.
