Hello altogether! This group aims to bring together all hiking enthusiasts from Düsseldorf and its region. Our hikes lead us across Düsseldorf as well as all the beautiful places surrounding our city. By the way: Every member is more than welcome to suggest his and her own hiking ideas. Simply write a message to one of our organizers and we'll figure out a great tour! On another note, this group is proud to be a very international communtity with great folks from all around the world. What defines the meetup culture is the mutual respect towards each other regardless of one's ethnicity, sexuality or political views. All that matters is the willingness to having a great time together! :)

Alles ansehen- Hiking around Herzogenrath and Christmas market at Burg Rode!Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof, Düsseldorf
It's time to get into the holiday spirit with a fun hike and a visit to a Christmas market.
Join us on December 15th for a moderate 15.8km hike with 257m up and 246m down. We'll meet at Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:15, but feel free to join us at any point along the route.
Train schedule:
Dep: 10:21 Düsseldorf Hbf platform 4 RE 4 (26412)
Arr: 11:23 Herzogenrath platform 2We'll be hiking for approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes, and we expect to be back at Düsseldorf Hbf around 17:30 (but let's be real, that's just an estimate).
The best part? We'll be ending our hike at the beautiful medieval castle of Burg Rode, where we can enjoy some festive fun at the Christmas market!
