A group for romance, mystery, fantasy readers, women's fiction, and authors in the North Texas area. We do a monthly tea on the second Saturday plus our fabulous Holiday Tea. If you read and love to discuss your books and authors, this is a great group with lively online discussion as well as the opportunity to meet in person.

As a reminder, if you RSVP for a tea or any sponsored event with a fee (not a donation suggested) you are required to make arrangements to pay if you cannot attend or send a replacement. All of our restaurant venues require full payment for the number we reserve so it's important no one is left with a huge bill.
There are NO membership dues or fees for joining us.

Ivy Cassidy writes atmospheric women’s fiction threaded with folklore, legacy, and the magic of memory. Her stories explore the places where ancestry and intuition meet, where homes hold secrets, and where women rediscover their strength across generations. With lyrical prose and emotionally resonant storytelling, she creates immersive worlds that linger long after the final page.
Cassidy is the author of House of Spells and Secrets, a historical fantasy set in 1971 that blends family mystery with inherited magic. She also writes under other pen names and has authored more than thirty-five novels across multiple genres, bringing decades of storytelling experience to her Ivy Cassidy work.
She lives in North Carolina, where she is often found writing, painting, making pottery, or walking beneath tall trees…always listening for the next story waiting to be told.3 Teilnehmer

Andrea Hairston is the author of Will Do Magic For Small Change, finalist for the Mythopoeic, Lambda, and Tiptree Awards, and a New York Times Editor’s pick. Other novels: Redwood and Wildfire, Tiptree and Carl Brandon Award winner, and Mindscape, winner of Carl Brandon Award. She has published essays, plays, and short fiction and received grants from the NEA, Rockefeller and Ford Foundation. She is the L. Wolff Kahn 1931 Professor of Theatre and Africana Studies at Smith College. She bikes at night year round, meeting bears, multi-legged creatures of light and breath, and the occasional shooting star.3 Teilnehmer
