In this workshop, we will guide you through the process of re-implementing GPT using Java, from the ground up. No prior knowledge of GPT or data science skills are necessary and this workshop is tailored for programmers. The hands-on approach will have you implementing the model alongside/ the instructor, step by step. We will explore the different components and concepts of GPT as we write the code and by the end of the workshop, you will have a working GPT implementation on your laptop, trained on a (much) smaller dataset.
