LLKA holds friendly football kickabouts every other Sunday on the grass pitch at Regent's Park.
Usually we’ll play for about an 1,30hrs and then head to a nearby pub.
LLKA is a based on the goals of social, non-cliquey football with open access to all lesbians who want to play. Basically the main aim of LLKA is to play a bit of football and have a good time while doing it!
Anyone is welcome to come along and join in.
There are no formal joining requirements for LLKA. You simply turn up to play whenever you want to. This is because LLKA is not a private members club, it's simply a series of ongoing events.
However, you are expected to be aware of the rules before you come along. There are only 3 very simple rules :
No violence, aggressive/threatening play or actions
No deliberate fouling/cheating
No abuse of hospitality - this means using the event as a "poaching" opportunity, to encourage or solicit other players at the event to come and play for other teams
