5km Countryside Walk + Giant Pumpkin Festival in Beelitz

Autumn is here, and we're heading to the Spargel- und Erlebnishof in Klaistow, near Beelitz, where giant sculptures made entirely of pumpkins bring "Kürbis goes to Hollywood" to life — Mickey Mouse, Marilyn Monroe, Harry Potter, Yoda and more. At 14:00 we'll catch the Great Pumpkin Weigh-In live, where last year's winner tipped the scale at over 1,000 kg!

We meet at 11:10 at Berlin-Charlottenburg and take the RE7 (dep. 11:24) towards Bad Belzig, arriving at Beelitz-Heilstätten at 11:58. We then switch to bus 641 towards Werder, arriving at Klaistow Spargelhof at 12:26. After the festival and weigh-in, we'll take a scenic 5 km walk through the countryside, stopping at the Kletterwald & Tiergehege to pet some animals, before heading back to Berlin.

Entry: 6€ on weekends. Organising fee: 5€ (please bring cash). What to bring: comfortable shoes and some extra cash for the farm shop or snacks.
