Über uns
Monthly Qi Gong & Forest Bathing trips to various Forests and Woods around London (summer months only - April to October).
Each trip will be different but will include either a Qi Gong or Yin Yoga class, Guided Thai Yoga or Indian Head Massage. All will start with a picnic or pub lunch and end up at a pub 🍻
Qi Gong combines easy but dynamic stretching exercises, with more meditative flowing movements and meditation.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, involving usually floor based poses that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles.
I'd like the group to be able to welcome contributions from its members, so if you are a Qi Gong, Tai Chi or Yin Yoga teacher, or have something else you'd like to guide us to do in the Forest, do get in touch!
Hosted by Stephen Nock of Thai-vedic Massage
The trips are open to anyone - and are LGBT friendly

Alles ansehen- 🌳 Pub lunch, Yin Yoga in Dulwich Park & Indian Head Massage in Dulwich Woods 🌳The Lordship Bar, London
Starting with a pub lunch at my favourite pub in East Dulwich: The Lordship (I'll need to book in advance so do let me know if you are joining us for lunch) You can view the menu here
After lunch it's a pleasant stroll through the posh Dulwich side streets to a secluded clearing in the trees where guest teacher Caroline Hughes will lead us in a slow paced and meditative Yin Yoga class perfect for the post lunch slump [subject to Caroline's availability. I will lead a QI Gong class if she is not available]
After rousing from our Shavassnas, we'll leave Dulwich Park and walk 20 mins or so to Dulwich Woods where I have selected a secluded part of the forest for an energising Indian Head Massage class
Those who wish to can end the day with a beverage of your choice at The Woodhouse pub on the other side of the woods.
From there the nearest station is Sydenham Hill (trains to Victoria) or the 363 bus will take you to Peckham Rye where you can get the Overground.
This year I'm making the classes free to join but I encourage you to make a £8 or £10 donation to:
https://theposhclub.co.uk/sponsor/
or
https://www.akt.org.uk/donate/(two charities I volunteer with on other days)
We are also reliant on good weather 😎 – if it’s pouring with rain, I will have to cancel 🤷🏼♂️
- Weekly Qi Gong class in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens (May to September) for Gay MenVauxhall Pleasure Gardens, London SE11 5HS
This friendly weekly, sunset Qi Gong class is for gay men who want to try something different.
Maybe you've tried Tai Chi but found it too complicated? Qi Gong is so much easier. Involving simple stretches, deep breathing and guided meditation you get all the 'mindfulness in motion' benefits of Tai Chi without having to learn a complicated sequence of movements.
We’ll end the class with a guided meditation, lying on the grass so bring something to lie on (a coat or jumper will do if it's dry!)
You can do Qi Gong in your normal clothes (but maybe take the high heels off 😂)
A perfect way to start your Saturday night out feeling energised and grounded 🤩
