For the very first time the SwissPUG (Swiss PostgreSQL Users Group) and the SOUG (Swiss Oracle User Group) will organize a joint event. The goal is to have talks from both worlds, Oracle and PostgreSQL at the same event. We hope that this will lead to interesting discussions.
From databases and data analytics to modern data platforms, we aim to cover a broad spectrum of technical and analytical approaches in the field of data management. We welcome contributions on all relevant technologies, methods, and tools. Whether it’s Oracle, PostgreSQL, or innovative approaches, your expertise is in demand!
The Swiss Oracle User Group (SOUG) and the Swiss PostgreSQL Users Group warmly invite experts, practitioners, and enthusiasts to submit presentations for the upcoming Database Synergy Day 2025 on March 26, 2025. This year’s central theme is: "The World of Data Management"
The Call for Papers is open until 9th of February. Proposals are accepted in either English or German.

The Swiss PostgreSQL Conference. Take the opportunity to meet other people interested in PostgreSQL in Switzerland. A two day conference with presentations mainly in English, but also in German and a social event on Thursday evening.
The Swiss PGDay 2025 will take place on Thursday, 26 June and Friday, 27 June 2025 at the OST Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, Campus Rapperswil (near Zurich).
Benefit from meeting other people interested in PostgreSQL at all levels. We are pleased to invite all attendees to a networking buffet dinner on Thursday evening to continue networking after the informative presentations during the day.
