The Art of Tarot Spreads: From Tradition to Intuition by Nichola Snook-Shelton
Dorchester Hall, 2 Dugdale St, Warwick, WA, AUThe Art of Tarot Spreads: From Tradition to Intuition
Presented by Nichola Snook-SheltonDuring this interactive meeting, not only will we explore the various types tarot spreads, the category or style they fall into, their history and when you may need to create your own spread. We also have a sneak peek into Tarot Reversals and the implications of having to reverse a card in a tarot spread. The reversals are predominantly for the Rider Waite Smith based decks; Thoth and Marseilles have different views and structures when it comes to reversals.
There will be a variety of spreads available, attendees can work in groups, pairs or solo. After this we will share any insights we may have identified.
Bio of Presenter: Many of the members in Western Australia will know me as the 'The Tarot Lady' or 'Tarot Queen.' This developed with the Western Australian Tarot Conference where, they asked for someone to sell tarot cards. Enquiries made and 'twas arranged, what I do "differently" is offer decks that are not readily available in shops and to ensure there is product knowledge. This is very important as people need to know whether it is a beginners deck, what style of deck, does it have pip cards; this information allows people to select the appropriate deck for them.
When people started to say oh I have so many decks, I don't use them, we aren't connected, Nichola came up with the Wrap and Read and started looking into Tarot accessories to allow people to use the decks they had.
This then made a change of name to Tarot Connections.Socials: https://www.facebook.com/nichola.snookshelton/
