THE BIKE LANE - Adventures near and far for street bikes, in and around the greater Phx area.
(Sorry - we do NOT mountain bike).
Welcome bicycle enthusiasts! We're a Phx-Valley based adult group of fun loving 2-wheelers (yes, many of us have e-bikes!) that explore the parks, greenbelt and local bike trails of the Phoenix area, cool areas of Arizona, old West Rail-Trails, plus bike a European Boat & Bike adventure in Autumn.
No current bicycling experience needed.
We love fun. We are a very social group (no - it's not a race). Come pedal with us as we go adventuring near and far, and make active, positive, interesting friends with similar interests!
Life is too short to stay on the sofa - let's go exploring (on 2 wheels)!!
Make friends, get a little exercise, have some fun.

Come pedal with DIANE!! A beautiful Sunset bike ride from the North Greenbelt.

Start at 92nd Street Cafe, right on the Greenbelt, and pedal South thru the green and trees and lakes!
Turn around... and back before dark.
Optional drinks/food at 92nd Street Cafe at the end!! Social time - make some new friends, or see old ones!

9 miles each way - total 18miles.
Bring your bike LIGHT, just in case.

Be ready to pedal at 4:30am
Mostly flat - all on the Bike Path

Come pedal with JACK!! A beautiful morning bike ride from Moon Valley / Jack's house (basically around Thunderbird & 19th Ave) to Uptown Farmers Market.

Uptown Farmers Market is a food-based farmers market and gathering place dedicated to inspiring and educating home cooks through Arizona local produce, handmade foods and handcrafted goods.
Fresh foods, Cooking demos, crafts and so much more.
.
You'll stop to shop - so bring a backpack or saddlebag for your bike for your finds.
Jack will show you the best breakfast spot at the market!!
And then pedal back.
8 1/2 miles each way - total 17 miles.
Back by 11:30ish - before it gets hot.

Beautiful scenic ride!!
Take advantage of the beautiful mornings we are having - and done before Noon, so you'll still have the whole day to yourself...

Meet at OHSO no later than 8:15 am - ready to pedal at 8:30.
All bike paths - easy pedal.

This is a full weekend of world-class cycling, breathtaking mountain scenery, and cool alpine summer weather at 7,000+ ft. From pros and hardcore cyclists to first-timers and party pacers, Tour de Big Bear is a hub for all cyclists to come together, celebrate the sport, and enjoy a fun weekend together in Big Bear.
