Über uns

The London Umbraco Meetup Group is open to anyone interested in the open source .NET CMS Umbraco, whether experienced or newcomer. Our aim is to create a welcoming space for anyone to learn, share knowledge, network and feel part of Umbraco's friendly community.

We aim to meet monthly in a variety of settings with talks about latest Umbraco topics, .NET development and any core skills that are of general interest to anyone who works with technology. Case studies and demos are welcomed. Please get in touch if you want to share something at one of our events.

Community is important to us
We are open to all and sundry who have an interest in Umbraco and/or CMS in general, so you are welcome to come along and meet the lovely people making Umbraco community what it is! We promise you a friendly welcome. If you're new people introduce yourself to one of the designated hosts for the evening.

Where and when do we we meet?
We mostly meet on the 2nd Thursday or each month, but this changes from time-to-time. Our location tends to rotate around London (we're always looking for new and interesting venues for meetups) but we can often be found around Old Street. Typically 15-20 people come along to our social meetups, many more when talks are scheduled. We aim to grow and try different things, including a summer BBQs and the Infamous Umbraco London Christmas Pub Quiz...

The ClerksWell Hackathon 2025 is happening!

Join us in Shoreditch on Friday 28th November for a high-energy, one-day event packed with creativity, collaboration and cause-driven coding.

We’re teaming up with 2 UK charities, Headway and Restore Hope to build digital solutions that make a real difference in people's lives.

Whether you're a seasoned developer or a creative problem-solver, this is your moment to shine! You’ll team up with brilliant minds, build something truly meaningful and pitch your solution in a live showdown to win over our panel of judges.

Prizes worth up to £10,000, including Codegarden tickets and Expert Certifications, await the winning teams!

The Challenge

Developers will work in teams of 2, so grab a teammate, get them to sign up as well and get ready to build something meaningful.

For Headway: The Brain Injury Charity

Challenge goal: help survivors communicate their condition and access personalised support anytime, anywhere.

For Restore Hope: Supporting Families in Crisis

Challenge goal: Empower families to access affordable good with dignity and track engagement through a digital system.

We’ve timed our hackathon to be just one day after the official launch of Umbraco 17, to celebrate and support the latest evolution of the platform. Use Umbraco 17 however you want in your solution and be among the first to innovate with its powerful new features (get creative with your use of Umbraco 17)
