Hi, all Independent Movie Lovers. You are invited meet at 7 pm, on Friday the 17th of April. This meeting is at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square, Dublin. We will discuss the film: **Two Prosecutors** (2025), directed by Russian director Sergey Loznitsa. The IFI is the only cinema now showing this movie, and lists it under the original title **Zwei Staatsanwälte**. We will also discuss the movie: **Amélie** (2001), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. This is the live-action movie from 2001, not the unrelated animated movie 'Little Amélie' currently in cinemas. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
