Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event. We start in the picturesque and smallest swiss town of Werdenberg (photo), from where we walk up the Grabserberg with spring flowers, make a lunch break near the beautiful Lake Voralpsee and go via the Ölberg (1428m) to Wildhaus, approx. 1150m up, 550m down, 17km, 6 h. Around Wildhaus there may be some snow, but the paths are safe. We go in a moderate pace, with time to take pictures, enjoy the spring flowers and have nice talks. Arriving in Wildhaus we may take a coffee or a beer.
