Systems are better than goals! This is an idea I first read about it Scott Adam's(Dilbert Cartoon Creator) book "How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big". This concept is further developed in the book "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. If you've never heard about idea before you might think this is a vague statement. You might be curious as what this idea fully entails. Well, tune into Monday Morning Motivation and you'll find out! I'll give a short synopsis of how you can better use systems in your life to get what you want. \*\*\* THIS WILL BE AN ONLINE EVENT\*\*\* Please login 5 minutes early. This is a support group for those who have survived an abusive relationship with a parent or caretaker and need support. In 2012, I stumbled upon a Dr. Phil episode quite accidentally and figured it out. My mother was and is a narcissist. What was wrong with me took a lot longer to figure out but over time, I have pieced together that my tendency to over book myself, my contact need to overachieve educationally, financially and socially, my near obsessive need to organize and my co-dependency is all tied into how I was raised.
