We share while we eat. **The Language Cooking Lab is an immersive evening where complete beginners learn the fundamentals of Italian while preparing an authentic Italian dish; tonight will be Pasta alla Carbonara — guided by an Italian professional chef with a background in language teaching.** This is not a lecture. A late posting but for those who are still free on Monday let's go for a hike from **Testelt to Aarschot** (\~21km, 160m elevation). We will return to the wetlands in the north-east of Vlaams-Brabant, not too far from Brussels, and explore an area we didn't visit for some time. At the end, we will hopefully find somewhere for an (optional) drink in Aarschot before taking the train back to Brussels. **The weather forecast is sunny and 14C, but prepared for a shower just in case. The path may be muddy and slippery in places so wear good shoes, preferably walking boots.** **We will walk at an average speed of 5km/h. This is quite fast.** We will walk both on paved and unpaved roads. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Main Library, Meeting Room 3B Join us for a welcoming evening of reflection, gentle music, and meaningful conversation. We’ll begin with a short grounding moment, followed by a brief reading from spiritual or philosophical traditions, and an open reflection circle where participants can share (or simply listen). Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. All backgrounds are welcome.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
