We will begin our jog/run from Anchorvale CC towards Punggol using Sengkang Riverside Park running route, U-turn back to Anchorvale CC once we hit 2.5KM mark (Total distance 5KM) After that, we will end our run @ Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre to mingle and chit chat (No obligation to join for post run session) Notes: ► As there is no storage space for your belongings, do travel light. ► We will do a warm-up at 7.30PM and the run will start at 7.45PM sharp. ► This is a rain-or-shine event. Sign-ups *are only confirmed after contacting us and joining the WA group! \**** Looking to explore a thrilling 2D1N trip in Jerantut, with different types of activities, but primarily to experience the thrilling **Via Ferrata Tasik Hati challenging route**, with a zipline down. The challenging via ferrata route takes around 3-4h at least, and we'll also take a 200m zipline down! There is also a beginner route (2-3h) if you feel too daunted, but have to wait for the rest! After which, Jerantut offers other outdoor options. We'll either do caving or explore the beautiful **Bukit Buluh/Bukit Merah, or also known as the mysterious Red Forest of Jerantut**, because of its unique reddish soil and distinctive forest scenery. This hike can take around 2-3h, by then you would definitely be hungry and tired and we'll head back to Jerantut for dinner and get a solid rest. Next morning, we'll explore Seladang hill for a short sunrise hike (2-3h)! We'll head back for a meal, wash up and then head back to Singapore for a fulfilling trip! This trip is still weather dependent, so we'll adjust the activities accordingly, with the Via Ferrata the main aim! The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience.
