Im **Mindful Play Lab** wird Achtsamkeit nicht nur ruhig, sondern auch spielerisch und voller Freude erlebbar. Draußen im Park verbinden wir bewusste Wahrnehmung mit Bewegung, kleinen Spielen und echten Begegnungen. Es darf gelacht, ausprobiert und entdeckt werden.

On the flip side, there are fascinating practices that focus on working with pain, other 'unpleasant' appearances as well as thoughts and regard them as highly valuable objects to develop insight and other qualities.**

**About the Organizer**
Martin is a certified Mindfulness Teacher, Systemic Coach, Yogi and Altruist by heart who teaches Meditation and Martial Arts in different formats. However, in this meetup Martin focuses on the altruistic intention to open a space for people to share while offering as much facilitation as needed in the moment.

Jhana Meditation for Beginners

Buzz for CCB studios and then walk through to the second courtyard. We will try to start right around 10. There will be tea available.
Please dress in comfortable clothes, maybe wearing a few layers. Theres some blankets, yoga mats, cushions and chairs in the room that you can use.
The plan will be for us to do some small discussions at the top and then start discussing theory before doing some meditations of increasing length and then closing with some time for Q & A. We will take a short break in the middle as well. The plan is to go from 10-12 roughly but we may end a little closer to 11:30 depending.
This week will function primarily as a simple introduction to meditation and some topics in the space but we will also discuss what the Jhanas are.

Folk legend and retired Chef of Play Zack Wood is in a brief Berlin visit, bringing games from far and wide for us to enjoy together.
Let's gather around for a picnic and be prepared to opt in or out of an assortment of different physical activities:
Chaotic, odd and a little bit crazy,
or playful, invigorating and dynamic,
or spiritual, connecting, stimulating,
he will tune the experience to the mood of the crowd.
Bring whatever you need to enjoy the park: food, drinks, sun protection, picnic blanket or anything else.
The activities are free, yet you are welcome to throw some coin his way afterwards (his phone was stolen a few days ago and he would appreciate it).
We meet in the south part of park Hasenheide, near the calisthenics area and Cafe Hasenschänke (which I've been told has free restrooms).

1\. Du möchtest besser verstehen\, wie Körper\, Geist und Seele zusammenwirken?
2\. Du spürst\, dass Emotionen festhängen und eigentlich in Bewegung kommen wollen?
3\. Du wünschst dir mehr Kraft\, Lebendigkeit und ein tieferes Vertrauen in dich selbst?
4\. Oder du möchtest eine neue Perspektive auf deine psychosomatische Beschwerden gewinnen?
5\. Vielleicht bist du auch einfach neugierig auf Körperpsychotherapie und willst sie ganz praktisch erleben\.
In dieser offenen Gruppe vermittle ich die Grundlagen der energetischen Körperpsychotherapie. Und zwar im direkten Erleben, "am eigenen Leib" sozusagen. Denn der Verstand weiß schon so viel, aber eine gesunde Verbindung zum Körper ist in unserer Kultur verloren gegangen und wird erst in jüngerer Zeit wiederentdeckt.
Die Gruppe findet einmal im Monat statt, die Termine sind unabhängig voneinander buchbar und auf Spendenbasis. Du kannst also genau dann kommen, wenn es für dich passt – ohne Verpflichtung, ohne Vorkenntnisse. Jedes Seminar steht für sich und öffnet einen Raum, in dem du dich selbst besser wahrnehmen, regulieren und ausdrücken kannst.
Ich bin Max, Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie, und begleite Menschen körperpsychotherapeutisch im Einzelsetting. Seit vier Jahren leite ich regelmäßig Gruppen-Seminare. Ich selbst war vor ein paar Jahren ständig erkältet, hatte einen Blumenstrauß an psychosomatischen Beschwerden und depressive Phasen. Durch die Körperpsychotherapie habe ich gelernt, meinen Körper wieder als Verbündeten zu erleben. Heute spüre ich früher, wenn etwas aus dem Gleichgewicht gerät – und kenne Wege zurück in die innere Balance.
Natürlich kann ich dir keine Wunderheilung versprechen. Was ich anbiete, ist ein klarer, sicherer und strukturierter Rahmen: für dich, für deine Empfindungen, für das, was gehört, gespürt oder bewegt werden will. Do you need a break from this noisy, fast-paced and, at the moment, very overwhelming world? Then you’re very welcome to join the Soul Care Circle. A space where you can simply be yourself, amongst people who focus on inner growth, mindfulness and genuine connection.
Here, together, we create a safe space for meaningful encounters. It’s all about genuine connection, deep conversations, self-reflection and the joy of being together.
**Among other things, you can look forward to:**
* Sharing Circles, where you can express yourself authentically
* Authentic Games, which playfully foster connection
* Guided meditations or trance states for deeper insights
* Mindfulness exercises that bring you into the here and now
Over a cup of tea, you can settle in peacefully, take a deep breath and chat with others. Everything is allowed, nothing is a must, you set your own pace.
Every event is designed and mindfully facilitated by me, Isabel. The Soul Care Circle has been running for almost 4 years, and I have been holding spaces for groups for over 10 years – always with the aim of creating places where growth, healing and self-expression are possible.

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease.
This walk is a simple reset.
We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment.
No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening.

With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. **Welcome to the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky’s Support Group.**

This group is a safe space for **survivors of traumatic and acquired brain injuries**, as well as their **families and caregivers**, to find support, share experiences, and connect with others who understand the journey.
Whether you're newly injured, a longtime survivor, or supporting a loved one, you’ll find comfort, information, and encouragement here. Our professionally facilitated groups offer a confidential, compassionate setting for healing, learning, and growing together.

COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)
Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process.
Fast track
• Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell).
• Show up and try it out.
• Complete application, etc. later.
Normal process
• Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/).
• Attend orientation in advance.
• At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
• Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
• Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
American Sign Language Beginners Meetup Group
We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able!
Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
