It’s all in a day’s work for your friendly neighborhood Marvel heroes! **What Lies in the Salo Mines** The harpies have left your rations torn and your pockets dry. Neo Valos offers you refuge but it comes at the cost of a quest. A beast has invaded the Salo Mines, the town’s main copper source. There are no bodies and no signs of struggle. However, the miners who have returned are all hollowed out. Incoherent speech and faulty memories make up a shell of the person they once were. As olympians, the town has requested you to slay the beast and free them from its terror. What truly resides in the echoing, pitch-black labyrinth of the Salo Mines? **Royal Blood** They are: the Major Arcana, more concept than real. As the queens, gods, and bosses of this city, their power excedes all imagination. You are:the Minor Arcana, as much human as magic. Minor gangsters, nobles and jesters, demigods and monsters alike, your powers are limited to what you can scrape together in a pinch. Still, limitation breeds innovation. Tonight is: the heist of a lifetime, a chance to steal the heart from a god, and in turn, become one as well. Have a care not to lose yourself along the way. WHAT IS ONE-SHOT SATURDAY? It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world. Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.

He brings a wealth of Martial Arts experience to Hong Kong. Michael has practiced and trained in Krav Maga since 2012 and became a qualified instructor in 2018.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
