WHAT we play. As you know, we have two events, one more for social games on Thursday and another for **strategic games** on **Monday**. Depending on what people bring, we may play brainy games, not limited to chess and classic games. So, feel free to bring other ones. And this is only indicative. Some games like Decrypto fit both events, **and if people feel like playing a social game on Monday or a more strategic one on Thursday, they are free to do so.** WHERE. Because we have many strategic players on Monday and these games take longer, we moved to a café closing much later than the previous one. CHATBOX USE. In the event chatbox, you are invited to discuss the games you bring and want to play for this session. The idea is to gather people around game tables beforehand. Of course, it's also possible to show up and arrange this after the introduction round, which starts at 7h15. HOST. If you want to become a host and have your board game event for a specific game with a small group of people or in another place, Great! Let me know, and I'll help you set up your event with this group. Hosts don't pay fees. TIMING: Because strategy games are often longer, we gather at 7 pm and start at 7:15. So, those who play long games can have 3 hours and 30 minutes for their game. You can come later, but you may have to wait before joining a game. WHERE. We play upstairs. Unlike most of our events, this is a more improvised one : some attendees bring their games, and we decide on the spot what we'll play. You may also post your ideas of what you want to bring/play in the comments, to gauge interest among the participants. We’ll begin by walking through the formal gardens and ponds of Tervuren Park, enjoying the open views and the sunset light reflecting on the water. From there, we will dive into the Sonian Forest (Fôret de Soignes), walking under the canopy of the majestic beech cathedrals. We will walk through the magnificent Arboretum that boasts centennial trees and majestic Giant Sequoias. The path will lead us gently downhill towards the historic Rouge Cloître (Red Closter), a 14th-century Augustinian priory nestled on the edge of the forest where we will stop for a well deserved drink. 🕒 The Plan *Meeting Time: 14:50 - Meeting Point: Just outside the Tervuren Station (Terminus of Tram 44). *The Walk: We depart at 15:00 sharp. - The End: We aim to arrive at Rouge Cloître around 18:00 - 18:30. *Après-Walk: We usually grab a drink at the beautiful Maison du Prieur in Rouge Cloître. 📋 Practical Details - Distance: Approximately 12 km. *Duration: \~3.5 hours walking time. *Pace: Casual to moderate. **Join us for a warm and easy-going afternoon at the Zinneke Parade 🎉, one of Brussels’ most creative and colorful street events.** The parade brings together artists, local groups, performers, musicians, and communities from different parts of the city to create a unique celebration in the streets of Brussels.
