Our Weekly Game Gathering will be hosted at Kerbey Lane from 6 - 9pm. We can be found in the far back as you walk in. If you need help finding us, the staff know us by the name g3 Games or as the Game Gathering. Arriving late or leaving early is no problem. Whether you're a board game fan looking to play classics or interested in a friendly chance to meet some new people, this event is the perfect opportunity to do that in a relaxed atmosphere. Bring your favorite game or just bring yourself and explore our community library - we’re excited to play with you! All skill levels are welcome, so don't be shy if you're a beginner! This event is LGBT Friendly and fosters a welcoming environment for all. It's a great chance to unwind, connect with like-minded individuals, and enjoy a fun night out. This meeting is currently only in-person! It is intended to be a hybrid meeting where attendees can attend in person or on Zoom, but we are still ironing out the exact details of how that will work. This is a free, confidential support group for LGBTQ+ identified persons, as well as family, friends, and allies of LGBTQ+ people. WHAT TO EXPECT: We gather at 6:45 pm. We starts at 7:00 pm. The support group ends at around 8:30 pm. Attendees participate in a sharing circle where people discuss issues, ask questions, offer personal experience, suggest advice and solutions, etc. Attendees have different journeys and experiences, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial information, tips, and advice. You may participate in the discussion, or just observe, whatever you feel comfortable doing. Every meeting is different and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness and to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost universally feel very glad that they attended our support groups. ABOUT PFLAG AUSTIN: we are a chapter of a national non-profit organization that provides free, confidential support groups for Austin, Texas area LGBTQ persons, along with their family and friends. Hey everyone! Let’s go to Downtown Round Rock and see a FREE show! This is part of the city’s concert series where there are free shows every Wednesday until the end of June. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair so that you have a place to sit during the show. Feel free to bring snacks to share or you can get popcorn sold at the park or pizza and beer next door. At Unity of Columbus, our Youth and Family Ministry nurtures the spiritual growth of children and families through love, joy, and practical spiritual teachings.
