**“What’s your dream house?”** Marielle, one of our members, will kindly offer the venue for our art gathering. She is from the Netherlands and lives in Seoul for work. Surprisingly, she chose to live in a hanok. She said it was the best choice, rather than living in an apartment or residence. As I get older, I feel much more comfortable when I’m in a hanok. It doesn’t have to be a luxurious house. Because it has a small garden inside, every corner feels like a frame from nature. It is a way of living with nature that Koreans have developed over time. That’s why it feels so harmonious with Korean nature. Merille’s hanok is located in Bukchon Hanok Village. Feel free to stroll around at your own pace and make art as you go. Let’s gather and share at her home. If you’d like to explore the house, it’s fine to arrive a little early. We are meeting on ZOOM! Meetings are still formatted to allow 15 minutes of sharing, one hour of writing, and a 15-minute wrap-up chat at the end.
