Everyone's talking about graphs now: What does Azure have to offer?
Everyone's talking about graphs now: What does Azure have to offer?
**Everyone's talking about graphs now: What does Azure have to offer?** Microsoft Fabric now has a built-in graph database. So do you still need Neo4j? In this session we put Fabric Graph and Neo4j Aura head to head. Not as a marketing exercise, but as a practical decision guide. We’ll cover where Fabric Graph earns its place as a zero-friction, OneLake-native option for connected data, and where Neo4j Aura pulls ahead on query maturity, algorithm depth, and production readiness. We’ll run the same problem through both platforms live, so you can see the real differences rather than just read a feature table. You’ll leave with a clear decision framework: when to use what’s already in your Fabric capacity, when to bring in the specialist, and why the answer is sometimes both. **About the Speaker** Sandy is a Principal Innovation Consultant at Acora (a title all the cool kids aspire to) and Databricks Champion. He’s passionate about technology and finding the best tool for the job. Having recently worked on a project building out a knowledge graph, he’s got the experience with Neo4j to really show the differences between where it wins and where fabric wins.
Playful Public Speaking - outdoor event - in Hyde park
Playful Public Speaking - outdoor event - in Hyde park
This event is outside in hyde park in a quiet shaded area. Go to the french embassy (2 minute walk from Knightsbridge’s station) and walk through albert gate into hyde park and you’ll see us immediately on the right. Please check photos for snap shot of exact location and message me here If you cant find It. If you get a bit nervous about doing this outside don’t worry it’s a very quiet location and youll quickly get used to it. Please read below for details about the class itself : Public speaking workshops can be so boring! so many of them teach a business/political style of speaking which feels inauthentic and insincere. The meetings themselves are often a repetitive format with the same style of speaking week in week out. Do you want something a bit more playful? A bit more fun? A bit more varied? Then you have come to the right place! My philosophy is that, at some point in our lives, we’ve learnt that it isn’t safe to be ourselves in front of others. We don’t learn to be ourselves by learning how to stand, how to move our arms or how to walk on stage, the truth is you can’t learn to be yourself, because you already are yourself. The real question is: why don’t we feel safe enough to express it? The aim of this weekly drop-in class is to liberate you from your own social inhibitions. To get to a point where it makes no difference whether you are speaking to a close friend one on one or speaking to an audience of 20 strangers, imagine how powerful it would feel to get to that position, a position where the audience has no influence over your behaviour and no influence over your nervous system. The class itself will include, warm up games, questions, playful improv style speaking exercises, debates and much more ! . If this sounds too hard, please don’t worry you can go at your own pace.
LJC Meet-up at Redis
LJC Meet-up at Redis
**Please register on [Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ljc-meet-up-at-redis-tickets-1989301512374) join this event.** **About this event** The LJC is delighted to be partnering with our sponsor **Redis** for an exciting meetup! This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn, network and enjoy great food together. Huge thanks to our friends at **Redis** for sponsoring this event and supporting our Community. **Agenda:** **5:30pm:** Doors open **6pm:** LJC and Redis intros **6:10pm:** Samuel Agbede: Designing Production-Ready Multi-Agent Systems with Spring AI **7pm:** Break & food **7:30pm:** Leif Åstrand: UI with Redis and Vaadin using 100% Java **8:15pm:** Networking **9pm:** Event finish **Speaker One:** Samuel Agbede, **Title:** Designing Production-Ready Multi-Agent Systems with Spring AI **Synopsis:** Exploring how Redis can go beyond traditional caching to support semantic caching, intelligent routing, and short-lived application memory in AI-driven Java systems. **Speaker Bio:** Software Engineer and Developer Advocate at Redis focused on AI agents and memory systems. Samuel explores how context, retrieval and state shape intelligent behaviour in real-world applications. **Speaker Two:** Leif Åstrand **Title:** UI with Redis and Vaadin using 100% Java **Synopsis:** Full-stack development can be intimidating, especially when going beyond the typical CRUD. A reactive application with real-time updates requires knowing things like WebSockets on top of the regular frontend stuff. But what if you could build a full-featured full-stack web app using only straightforward Java? No JavaScript, no HTML, no CSS. Just Java. Join this live coding session to discover how to develop a reactive web app using Spring Boot, Redis and Vaadin. Starting from scratch, we'll cover everything: real-time updates, external services, and a good-looking UI. All in Java. **Speaker Bio:** Leif has been working with full-stack web application development in various ways for the past 20 years. Building applications, building frameworks for building applications, and in the last few years mainly working to understand what it takes to build applications. Works at Vaadin in areas related to product management, research, architecture and product development. How Your Past Experiences Can Negatively Affect You
How Your Past Experiences Can Negatively Affect You
Description: Join us for an enlightening lecture that delves into the intricate web of the past and its potential to cast a long shadow over our present lives. In this thought-provoking session, we will explore the profound ways in which the past can negatively impact our well-being, choices, and personal growth. Throughout history, human lives have been shaped by a multitude of experiences, both positive and negative. These experiences accumulate, leaving imprints on our memories and shaping our beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors. While the past holds valuable lessons and cherished memories, it can also harbor unresolved conflicts, traumas, and limitations that subtly influence our present reality. During this lecture, we will navigate the labyrinth of psychological and emotional baggage that may accumulate over time, inhibiting our personal development and impeding our ability to lead fulfilling lives. By examining the effects of the past on various aspects of our existence, we will gain a deeper understanding of how it can manifest in detrimental ways. Through engaging discussions, case studies, and real-life examples, we will explore the following topics: 1. The Power of Unresolved Trauma: We will delve into the profound impact of unresolved traumatic experiences and how they can subtly shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By shedding light on the intricate mechanisms behind these effects, we can begin to dismantle their hold on our lives. 2. Inherited Baggage: Examining the intergenerational transmission of pain, beliefs, and patterns of behavior, we will explore how our ancestors' experiences can unconsciously influence our lives. By recognizing and addressing this inherited baggage, we can break free from destructive cycles and chart our own path. 3. Limiting Beliefs and Self-Sabotage: Uncovering the deeply ingrained beliefs and narratives that stem from past experiences, we will explore how they can become self-fulfilling prophecies, stifling our potential and sabotaging our aspirations. By challenging these beliefs, we can reclaim our personal power and reshape our narratives. 4. Breaking Free: Strategies for Healing and Transformation: This segment will offer practical tools and techniques for healing past wounds, releasing emotional burdens, and cultivating resilience. We will explore approaches such as therapy, mindfulness, self-reflection, and forgiveness to facilitate the process of letting go and embracing personal growth. By the end of this lecture, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the profound influence the past can exert on their lives and how to break free from its negative impact. Armed with newfound knowledge and practical insights, they will be empowered to embark on a transformative journey towards self-discovery, healing, and the creation of a brighter future. Note: This lecture is open to all individuals seeking personal growth and a deeper understanding of the psychological and emotional factors that shape their lives. No prior knowledge or experience is required, only an open mind and a willingness to explore the depths of the past.

Issue Holder and Representative spaces are available: **For Representative (Participant) Booking £45:** **[https://calendly.com/illiadato/in-person-constellations-representative](https://calendly.com/illiadato/in-person-constellations-representative)**[ ](https://calendly.com/illiadato/in-person-constellations-representative) **For Issue Holder (Client) Booking £175:** If you wish to attend as an Issue Holder at this workshop and have your own Constellation done please email your request to: [ih@londonconstellations.uk](ih@londonconstellations.uk) **Please Note:** There are limited issue holder spaces available, please book early to avoid disappointment and wait for a confirmation email of your booking. This workshop provides a perfect opportunity to experience the deep and insightful Systemic Constellations process. A unique and powerful therapeutic method for self-exploration, understanding core behaviors, removing blocks, and reintroducing movement and growth. It is used as a major resource in working through trauma and it can assist in depression treatment. To read comments from participants in previous workshops click this link [https://bit.ly/33Asprs](https://bit.ly/33Asprs) **WHAT ARE SYSTEMIC CONSTELLATIONS?** The Systemic Constellations method is a unique therapeutic process of exploration of the forces that move us in life. Such forces often appear as difficulties or a sense of being 'stuck' in life, affecting our behavior, relationships, career, health/wellbeing, or even financial circumstances. This method provides a three-dimensional ‘map’ of one’s life as it is at present. It is a simple yet powerful way to explore entanglements and blockages in our personal life and in our family history. The method brings awareness and clarity into personal challenges by focusing the client on the root cause of such difficulties. Constellations provide an opening for a positive life shift and present ways for deep healing processes to occur. **WHAT HAPPENS IN A CONSTELLATION SESSION?** In Constellations work the ‘client’ is referred to as the ‘Issue Holder’. The method uses workshop participants as ‘Representatives’ to stand in for key people in the client’s life such as family members, colleagues, partners, ex-partners etc., sometimes ‘abstract’ concepts such as an emotion, country of origin, religion, or destiny are also represented. All participants are invited to take part as Representatives. Workshop participants often report (see reviews: [https://bit.ly/33Asprs](https://bit.ly/33Asprs)) experiencing profound insights into their own lives by simply witnessing the process, regardless of how they choose to take part. **WHY DOES THIS WORK?** Scientific research shows that the experiences of your ancestors can determine your behavior today and affect future generations.\*\* Recent scientific research into DNA reveals that a component named epigenetics is embedding the effect of a traumatic experience by altering the genetic structure. It means that some of our behavior patterns can be attributed to traumatic events in your family history. This notion has always been one of the guiding principles of Systemic / Constellations Therapy, a form of work that is dedicated to exposing and dealing with issues emerging from our family system. Our group provides a **safe space** where deep personal work is done and where maintaining confidentiality and respect for each other's privacy is paramount. **\*\* DNA research paper and news article links:** Discover - Grandma's Experiences Leave a Mark on Your Genes [https://bit.ly/3dLwEkK](https://bit.ly/3dLwEkK) BBC News - "Memories" pass between generations [http://bbc.in/1dNShPe](http://bbc.in/1dNShPe) **Facilitated by Illi Adato** MA Lon\. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** Like it or not, AI agents are now capable of turning a quickly written paragraph of requirements into a pull request that is ready to be integrated into real-world production applications and it's now our responsibility to make sure AI doesn't go rogue and take down prod - or corrupt our data by misunderstanding the requirements or our existing schemas. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do. By the time we're done, you'll have a firm grasp of the problem and understand some helpful options for protecting your codebase from vibe coding mishaps getting YOLOed into prod. **YouTube Link** https://youtube.com/live/BltmWMH1zG0?feature=share

It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself. Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went? Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you aren’t aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence? Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, you’ll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.
