¡Hola a todos! 😊 Nos reunimos para disfrutar del Sechseläuten y la tradicional quema del Böögg este 20 de abril en Zúrich. 🌸 ¿Qué es el Sechseläuten? Es una fiesta tradicional que marca la llegada de la primavera y tiene sus orígenes en el siglo XVI, cuando en Zúrich se cambiaba el horario de trabajo y las campanas sonaban a las 6 de la tarde para indicar el inicio de la jornada de verano. Con el tiempo, esta tradición se combinó con antiguos rituales populares en los que se quemaban figuras (los “Böögg”) para despedir el invierno. 🔥 Hoy en día, el Böögg —un muñeco en forma de muñeco de nieve lleno de fuegos artificiales— se quema como símbolo del fin del invierno. Según la tradición, cuanto más rápido explota su cabeza, ¡mejor será el verano! 🎭 ¿Qué vamos a ver? Primero veremos el final del desfile de los gremios (Zünfte): cientos de participantes con trajes históricos, caballos, música y carrozas desfilan por la ciudad hasta llegar a la plaza principal (Bellevue).
