There is generally no major agenda, though this month I do have a discussion topic to get things started: **Discussion Topic - Blind Faith vs Skepticism vs Cynicism** Healthy skepticism helps to ensure that our beliefs match reality. Cynicism, however, can result in a distrust of things even in the face of evidence supporting the thing. With cynicism, conspiracy theories abound. With Blind Faith, anything can be believed even without evidence. So how do you operate as a skeptic without falling into cynicism? How does skepticism impact your beliefs and outlook on life? Are there any areas of your life where you still exercise blind faith? How does trusting in the consensus of experts differ from blind faith in religious texts or authority figures? Our regular meetup starts at 7PM and we usually just chat over drinks and food (though there is no pressure to order anything.)
