We are gathering for a rare candle workshop of mine at the new studio at Kaarli pst 11, where we will learn to mold magic candles by hand, using natural beeswax and whatever you can find in the witch's cabinet. Tickets are 15 Europs per person, sold at Fienta: https://fienta.com/et/intuitive-hand-molded-ritual-candle-workshop-by-witch-of-tallinn You don't need a lot to start making your own ritual candles for manifestating, magic, subconcious proframming or meditating. Jus natural beeswax from a local bee farmer, Alice at Kajamiku Farm, your own two hands and an intention. I will guide you how, but I will not be telling you what to do. We will be practicing your intuition and channel information from the Field to programme your candle. And, of course, I will teach you what's the point of candles and rituals, and how to actually use these for powerful transformation and changes. I would know, I sell these as a professional witch and people are quite happy with them. Some extra rare ingredients like snake skin, hedgehog fuzz etc. will cost extra, but otherwise most of my herbs are included in the price already. Normal price is €15 per person. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
