This is a free, confidential \*\* in person \*\* support group for LGBTQiA+ identified persons, as well as family, friends, and allies of LGBTQiA+ people. WHAT TO EXPECT: We gather at 6:45 pm. We start at 7:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm. Attendees participate in a sharing circle where people discuss issues, ask questions, offer personal experiences, suggest advice and solutions, etc. Attendees have different journeys and experiences, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial information, tips, and advice. You may participate in the discussion, or just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing. Every meeting is different and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness and to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost universally feel very glad that they attended our support groups. While our support groups are for the LGBTQiA+ community and their loved ones and allies, we would also like to encourage significant others of transgender and gender diverse loved ones to join our support groups. We gather at 6:45 pm. We start at 7:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm. **NOTE:** even though many of our support group meetings are held in churches, PFLAG Austin is agnostic with respect to religion. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!

This month we’ll be reading Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. Feel free to come even if you don’t finish the book!

We practice, dance, and enjoy a BYOB bottle of your favorite wine at the Dublin Ballroom off Sawmill, North, and “milonga” is a social event for tango dancing where dancers socialize. A “*practica*” is an informal social event for tango dancing where dancers focus on practicing the dance; while a “*practilonga*” combines the relaxed atmosphere of a “*practica*” with the format of a “milonga.” We are doing it all! ***Cost is $10 payable to the Teacher.*** *Cost is for the cost of the venue and covers some snacks.* We have had fun doing this event in the past. Please arrive promptly as lessons begin at 2pm. Don't worry about bringing a partner as there will be others at the event from outside the group that: a) might have a clue and b) won't step on your toes. The event is BYOB (similar to our Salsa events), so bring your favorite and a wine glass. We will likely find a place for dinner and drinks after the dance.

Private Group. Closed to the Public Knowing ourselves and understanding our abilities is the first step toward wielding our gifts with control and accuracy. In subsequent classes we will verify and hone our talents with activities and discussion. These are hands-on workshops and participation is expected. The goal of our series will be to develop expertise in areas of particular interest such as mediumship, channeling, divination, healing and, etc..
