Pro Referral Networking
A big mistake I made in my 20's when I first started my business was not learning and connecting with people who had more experience and wisdom than I did.
Here's what I mean by that...
Not finding the top referral partners and business mentors easily cost me 7 figures in revenue over the years. Likely quite a bit more.
The reason I lost out on so much is I naively thought I knew my business best and could do it all on my own.
Needless to say going solo was a huge mistake.
And one that I want to keep you from making.
So I want to invite you to the business CEO referral and mentorship group I wish I had when I was building and growing my business.
Hopefully you will be able to take the people to task in this group, wring out every drop of knowledge, apply it to your business and watch as your results inflate your bank account like a giant hot air balloon.
Which will then enable you to become the mentor and help out those entrepreneurs coming up. Thus the founder cycle continues, and we are all 10x better for it.
Here's what you will get:
Access to the top entrepreneurs in the South Bay.
Here's how it works:
This select group meets each week to reconnect with the sole purpose of supporting each others businesses - specifically to give warm referrals.
We give leads that are from highly trusted sources.
Here's what I want you to do next:
Apply for the group on the link below. We will review your application and discuss it with the group to see if it is a good fit.
The goal is to find entrepreneurs who are hungry to grow. You don't have to have a huge business, only the fierce burning desire to connect with South Bay businesses.
We help you do this by offering tools to scale your business, implement new growth strategies, connect with subject matter experts and get your high level questions answered.
Each week we meet to go over what we learned the previous week.
You will meet the same people each week, get to know them and understand their business.
This is an intimate setting for CEO's and business owners to get referrals, learn new information and get moral support.
The CEO's journey can be lonely, this is a place to regroup and recharge.
We are all supporting each other go grow our businesses, and the synergy created is greater than you could do alone.
Crucial Business Growth Habits That You Will Learn:
1. Identify the 3 most important tasks that must get done. This is a Keystone Habit. You should plan on doing this daily and get it listed in the morning.
2. Review your goals. Another Keystone Habit that really does need to be reviewed daily. What action steps are required to keep you on point to reach the goals? Make sure it’s something obtainable and makes sense to work on now.
3. Do the hardest task first. Use Support Habits on a daily basis to get this done. If one of your goals is to keep your office clean and you have papers everywhere and you can’t find important documents, a support habit to this would be to schedule a time to re-organize your office. A support habit would be a big note to self: reminding yourself to get a box or bucket to stack your papers in before you go through them.
4. Chunk down a Project (Goal) into small manageable steps. Using more Support Habits on a daily basis at the time that works for you, provide yourself the steps from start to finish and only handle a small part of it.
5. Remove distractions before starting the work. Using Support Habits like shutting down all devices that will distract you are very helpful. Use a timer and stay focused while the timer is on.
6. Reach out to 1 person each day who you can help or who can help you. Nurture real relationships with time to grow your genuine referral base.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 160 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 30,000 Rotary clubs.
Established in 1910, The Rotary Club of San Mateo is among the more established and vibrant Clubs of the San Francisco Peninsula. We are 155-members strong and have an extensive history of service.
Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.
Although Rotary clubs develop autonomous service programs, all Rotarians worldwide are united in a campaign for the global eradication of polio. In the 1980s, Rotarians raised US$240 million to immunize the children of the world; by 2005, Rotary's centenary year and the target date for the certification of a polio-free world, the PolioPlus program will have contributed US$500 million to this cause. In addition, Rotary has provided an army of volunteers to promote and assist at national immunization days in polio-endemic countries around the world.
If you are interested in becoming a Club member, please click on the “How to join” link. Please also contact our Membership Committee Chairs for more information.
If you are already a Club member, this website contains many helpful resources. Be sure and use our member directory to contact other Rotarians, consult our Club Calendar for upcoming Club events and activities, and keep up on Club news by reading the most current and past editions of Spinnings. Also, check out the Club Handbook for a listing of the committees you have volunteered to work on this year. Thank you for your service!hinker with a keen eye for understanding how to implement transformational change in organizations. I believe that education must be an instrument for moving society beyond the status quo toward a better, more sustainable future. Furthermore, I see schools should be places for individual and collective transformation, and should model possibility, strength of community and a better world for all. I continue to work in the field of education as a change agent for a thriving 21st century education system, and a more sustainable and holistic paradigm.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.

CMG Gives Back: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces.
PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1
week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to all of YOU for volunteering at this (and any of our previous) CMG Gives Back events!
Should be a good/fun/meaningful time together, Dan
