Meetup Attendance policy We understand that life happens and things change, but please try and let us know if you’ve signed up to an event but won’t make it. Otherwise, we might spend the entire night worrying about you. Serial offenders will be marked as non-attendees, just so that our hard-working hosts know not to spend too much time waiting for/contacting them. Group rules (TL;DR – Don’t provoke unnecessarily, but also don’t be a massive snowflake.) This should be self-explanatory to anyone accustomed to conducting themselves in society, but let’s set it out in writing anyway. Just be excellent to each other. We're a group of writers that meets up every Sunday for a productive writing session. **Here's how the meetup works:** * We gather together, grab some fika, and then we write for an hour. * After the hour is up, we spend some time chatting, sharing ideas and thoughts on writing, and discussing the challenges we've come across. The goal is to **commit to working on your writing project for a set amount of time, all while** **connecting with other writers** and being motivated by the energy of creative minds working hard on their individual projects. You'll have the chance to share your work and receive valuable feedback (if you so wish) or simply enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. -- We're here, **same place, same time, every week.** So if you're feeling up to it, drop by and let's get writing!

**The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps).
