Weather is warming up so let's have possibly our last Sunday Roast Dinner until the weather cools down again🍗🥩🍖🌮🥗🍔🍻🍷🍹🍾 . The format is simple. We will be given a wooden spoon each. You order when you are ready, what you like and pay for it when you want to go. Their Sunday roast is pretty awesome! But if it is not your cup of tea, they have a wide and varied menu and you can opt for a rack of their monster ribs, a juicy tower of a burger, a plate of nachos piled high, a healthy salad or whatever else you fancy. There will be a Fluffy Tax of €2 per person. I have booked a table for 12 on the covered terrace. With notice, I can possibly add to it if more of you like to join us. As a follow-up to our macro class and to get ready for our May and June Field Shoots, we are going to have a macro training "class." I will attempt to work through a number of macro shoots with the group. Those with cameras can try to shoot the same subjects I am shooting. We will start with some small objects and work our way down to smaller and smaller ones. As we photograph each subject, we will consider depth of field, focal plane management, subject composition, background, and lighting. I have no idea how many subjects we will get through, but we will give it our best shot (pun intended!). Bring your camera, whatever macro gear you might have, a tripod if you have one, whatever lighting you may have, etc. This will really be an exercise in seeing what you have, me showing you some ways to approach the subjects, and seeing what works! I am going to add an extra hour to this meeting! CYA There!!!!!
