We are gathering for a rare candle workshop of mine at the new studio at Kaarli pst 11, where we will learn to mold magic candles by hand, using natural beeswax and whatever you can find in the witch's cabinet. Tickets are 15 Europs per person, sold at Fienta: https://fienta.com/et/intuitive-hand-molded-ritual-candle-workshop-by-witch-of-tallinn You don't need a lot to start making your own ritual candles for manifestating, magic, subconcious proframming or meditating. Jus natural beeswax from a local bee farmer, Alice at Kajamiku Farm, your own two hands and an intention. I will guide you how, but I will not be telling you what to do. We will be practicing your intuition and channel information from the Field to programme your candle. And, of course, I will teach you what's the point of candles and rituals, and how to actually use these for powerful transformation and changes. I would know, I sell these as a professional witch and people are quite happy with them. Some extra rare ingredients like snake skin, hedgehog fuzz etc. will cost extra, but otherwise most of my herbs are included in the price already. Normal price is €15 per person. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance". Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
