The Council of Solace is a special meditation where we gather to direct our spiritual energy to help bring about healing and peace to the world. Many people do this as part of a daily practice in service of others and find it to be a personally enriching experience that provides them with a sense of renewal. Please join us as we gather for a noontime meditation each weekday.

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! We have reserved the light, roomy meeting room at Milwood for 4+ hours of Saturday gaming. Newbies welcome—we will be happy to teach you to play. We are a safe, friendly, inclusive, and diverse group. We’ll meet at 12:30 at the Milwood branch of the Austin Public Library, in northwest Austin, at 12500 Amherst Dr, off Parmer/MoPac. There's plenty of free parking, including four spots for EV charging at the west end of the lot. P.S. Please, no food at the game tables—so be sure to grab a bite before you arrive. We play a wide variety of Euro-style board games, including anything new that's out there plus usual favorites. Bring your favorite game! Someone will most likely want to try it. Game Kastle has snacks and drinks, plus there is a Subway, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Wing Street and Wanfu in the shopping center. Sorry, no alcohol allowed in the store. There are usually 10+ folks playing games, regardless of the number that sign up. If you show up after 1pm, you may have to wait.

**Brushy Creek "One Fly" Tournament** Saturday, May 16, 2026 7:00 AM 1:00 PM Living Waters Fly Fishing103 North Brown StreetRound Rock, TX, 78664United States (map) Our Annual “One Fly” Tournament is a celebration of the species diversity in our home water of Brushy Creek. Participants will compete to catch as many different species as possible within the allotted time, with an extra challenge of using a single fly. If the fly is broken off or lost, you’re out! Both traditional and Tenkara style fly fishing are acceptable. There is no entry fee and no registration is required, but you MUST attend the Pre-Tournament Briefing to participate. 7:00 A.M. – Doors Open / Tournament Entrant Check-In (Coffee & Round Rock Donuts provided) 7:15 A.M. – Mandatory Pre-Tournament Briefing 7:30 A.M. – Tournament Begins 12:15 P.M. – Tournament Ends 12:30 P.M. – “Weigh In” 1:00 P.M. – Winners Announced / Prizes Awarded* *In the event of a tie, the top contenders will face off in a speed round Fish Off.
