New Covent Garden Dance Orchestra Free Spitalfields Tea Dance 2nd Edition
The New Season Of 2026 Spitalfields Tea Dances are Back with a Bang to Celebrate Global Dance Day more Commonly known as International Dance Day .
The First one Take Places From 29/04/2026. A free tea dance inside Spitalfields's market with the Covent garden dance orchestra. Come Rain or shine This Outdoor Dance always goes ahead with Great Quality as the Dance is Under Covers in Crispin Place
Free dancing, tea and cakes from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Many good dancers, who are friendly and will happily dance with newcomers. [)
George Tudor Hart Says about this Dance "There's a nine piece dance orchestra in white tuxedos, an area of the floor sectioned off as a large dance floor and seats for around 120 people. Free tea and cakes are served at around 1.30 pm, The dancers are a mix of locals who many of whom have lived in Spitalfields for yonks, and visitors from other parts of London. The music is good, quicksteps are in abundance, and there's some, but not too much, sequence dancing. When I was there the crowd were friendly, all could dance and were easy and obliging when asked to dance to ask to dance. Several were very good dancers. The area was sheltered and tea and cakes were served efficiently, and with style in China cups, not styrophone. There are clean public loos within in the market. The stalls in the market are interesting and varied, Some good hat shops are there, and Tracey Ermine's shop is around the corner outside the market. This event is held every month on Wednesday afternoons from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm on the They don't do it in the colder months after September "
We do aim to list other events for us to go to.

Rabble - Fitness Through Games!
A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games.
Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it.
We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different.
Sessions are open to all, no matter your sporting ability. Each game is explained before we start, so there's no need to have played any of the games before.
Come solo or bring friends! And stay at the end for the social part!
Who knew getting fit could be this fun?

Chaotic Friday Night 🎸 Skinship + Neuro Placid + more...
**TL;DR**
Leave your classical music sensibilities at the door; tonight is a loud, sweat-soaked riot of noisy punk, chaotic mosh pits, and contagious smirks. Expect a collision of nostalgic 80s synth-rock beats, heavy guitar riffs, and sharp, satirical rap-punk.
If you aren't leaving with ringing ears and a massive grin, you weren't doing it right.
Ticket 👉👉👉https://link.dice.fm/29065nmZs3b
**The Lineup**
Tonight is all about the absolutely electric **Skinship** for me. Blending punchy rock with nostalgic 80s synth elements and a twist of Bowie, they command the stage with a massive presence that simply has to be seen to be believed. Their live sets are an absolute blast, making them the definitive way to round off your Friday with some banging tunes.
They pair up perfectly with the chaotic, unapologetic rap-punk energy of South East London anti-hero **Neuro Placid**. Bringing his high-voltage performance to celebrate both a single launch for Nice to Meet Ya and the premiere of his new web series, Bands Go Bird Watching, his sets tackle dark humour and internal battles with sharp wit.
Adding to this stellar lineup, **Sweet Cheeks** brings their brilliantly unique girly pop nu-metal to the mix. With infectious energy and a heavily addictive underground sound, they are guaranteed to keep the crowd moving and the energy high.
Kicking things off is **Claw Machine**, a boundary-pushing Brighton outfit rapidly making waves in the grassroots scene. Their wildly dynamic and innovative live sets make them the perfect opener to get the night started right.
**Why You Should Go**
Come for the blistering live music, highly entertaining stage presence, and the perfect Friday night chaotic energy! With a smirk, witty and very dancey tracks, this is an underground gig you do not want to miss. Also, get an additional free entry to the SXSW London music raffle (https://www.meetup.com/livemusiclondon/events/314966799).

Mental Health, how do you understand it? How can you improve it?
How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?
Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you aren’t aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence?
Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, you’ll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.

Take Control Of Your Life, Freedom From Negative Thoughts & Irrational Emotions
Feeling down? Sometimes depressed? Can't focus? Negativity & stress? Recent losses? Creativity in career and personal life hindered by mental blocks? Sometimes we never fully recover from traumatic experiences.
Whether it was yesterday, last week or a year ago, traumatic experiences - a loss of a loved one, losing a job, a breakup - can leave you scarred. You talk about it and feel a little better, but it never goes away. After you hang up the phone, it's still there; the sadness, the cloud, the over-thinking, the worry, the guilt. You try to focus, but you're blocked. You try to look forward into new experiences, new relationships but a cloud is hanging over you, casting a shadow on what you once considered a bright, cheerful future.
What happened to your courage? Your strength of character? You're 'why not' attitude? Whoever said 'time heals' must have had a special time machine, because after weeks, months, years, you're wondering - when exactly does that kick in? Sometimes it seems like drinking or drugs are the way to go. But they wear off, and now the problem is still there with added side effects from the drugs.
At this free local Meetup event we will talk about:
* What causes grief, anxiety and depression to become chronic.
* Is it possible to regain your joy and happiness even after traumatic experiences?
* How to break away from negativity and focus on the future
* What are the steps to take to get control of your mind and your emotions?
Learn about a safe, gentle, do-it-yourself counseling that can be done in the comfort of your own home.
Let's explore safe, effective solutions for healing from traumatic experiences.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to the event. We look forward to seeing you there.
