Wir freuen uns euch zu sehen (virtuell oder vor Ort). * 18:00 Uhr: Einlass * 18:30 Uhr: Talk * ab 19:30: Ausklang des Abends Dank an [qSkills](https://qskills.de/) für Location, Bier und Pizza! \-\-\- Oft sollen Anwendungen in entkoppelten Modulen entwickelt werden, um Ordnung und Struktur in unseren Code zu bekommen und darüber Wartbarkeit zu garantieren. Microservices stellen dafür einen sehr konsequenten Ansatz dar, können aber auch eine hohe Komplexität mit sich bringen. “Monolithen” hingen sind vergleichsweise bequem in der Entwicklung, stehen aber im Verdacht, schnell zu einem unübersichtlichen “Big Ball of Mud” zu werden. Diesem Problem versucht “Spring Modulith” entgegenzutreten. Damit werden Spring Boot-Anwendungen in einer gemeinsamen Codebasis entwickelt (”monolithisch”), innerhalb dieser werden aber Module definiert ("modulitisch"), deren korrekte Verwendung anhand von Architekturregeln kontinuierlich überprüft und sichergestellt wird. Außerdem erweitert Spring Modulith das Spring-eigene Eventsystem, um auch zur Laufzeit für eine Entkopplung der Module zu sorgen. In diesem Live-Coding-Vortrag möchte ich anhand praxisnaher Beispiele eine Einführung in Spring Modulith geben und mit euch diskutieren, welche Konsequenzen sich für unsere Anwendungen daraus ergeben und für welche Szenarien dieser Ansatz besonders geeignet ist. \-\-\- Dein Vortrag bei der Java Usergroup Nürnberg! A kérdés az, hogyan használjuk őket úgy, hogy valóban a skálázhatóságot szolgálják, és ne a technikai adósságot növeljük. Valós példákon keresztül nézzük meg a jól működő struktúrákat, a tipikus hibákat és azokat a bevált tervezési mintákat, amikkel hosszú távon is fenntartható marad az architektúra. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! This year's Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Vienna, Austria, and the finals are scheduled for 16 May 2026. The [Scandinavian Club of Columbus](https://www.scandiclub.com/) will be co-hosting a viewing party for the final event in conjunction with Germania and the [Columbus Maennerchor](https://www.maennerchor.com/). The delayed televised viewing will take place at the Germania. The program will start around 2:00 p.m. and the singing will start around 3:00 p.m. There will be a cash bar, and those in attendance can bring food or snacks for themselves and or to share with the groups. **Suggested donation: $10/person** to help cover the cost of the venue.
