Join us for a beautiful and varied hike along the eastern part of the Circuit du Lac, around Luxembourg’s stunning Upper Sûre Lake. This route offers a perfect mix of forest trails, rolling hills, and breathtaking viewpoints over the lake. Along the way, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir, pass through peaceful nature, and cross highlights such as the Lultzhausen floating bridge. This is a moderate but rewarding hike, ideal for those who enjoy longer walks with great scenery. 📍 Hike Details • Route: Circuit du Lac (eastern section – loop) • Distance: ~16.8 km • Duration: about 5 hours (including breaks) • Elevation gain: ~500 m • Elevation loss: ~500 m • Difficulty: Moderate 🚌 Getting there (Public Transport) From Luxembourg City, the easiest route is: 1. Take a train to Kautenbach 2. Welcome to our weekly physical or virtual Club Polyglotte meeting. * As usual, a minimum consumption of one drink or something small to eat is obligatory at Restaurant Quai Steffen at 13, Place de la gare at the Luxembourg railway station. * We start our get together at 19:00 h and finish at 22:00 h.
