Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear. Cost is $12 per person ($10.80 for Apex members). Apex is an indoor facility with a pro shop and restaurant/bar on site. You do not need to be a member to play. The purpose of this group is to enjoy the game and introduce new people to the pickleball community. By signing up you agree to be willing to play with people who are at different skill and experience levels, and show kindness and respect to all players at all times.

We've had so much fun at our previous doggy hikes, and our last one was our best turn out yet! Come join us for a relaxed walk/hike at Barton Springs Hill of Life trail. We can hike about 45 minutes in and 45 minutes back. Just a quick heads up: a lot of dogs at this park tend to be off-leash, so expect a mix of leashed and unleashed dogs around. We play a wide variety of Euro-style board games, including anything new that's out there plus usual favorites. Bring your favorite game! Someone will most likely want to try it. Game Kastle has snacks and drinks, plus there is a Subway, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Wing Street and Wanfu in the shopping center. Sorry, no alcohol allowed in the store. There are usually 10+ folks playing games, regardless of the number that sign up. If you show up after 1pm, you may have to wait.
