Shut Up & Write!™ Copenhagen
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
SCHEDULE:
- 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros.
- Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour.
- After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll.
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
It's best to be on time, but BEING LATE IS ALSO OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check in with us after the session. (We’ll be the ones with the small Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.
Team Topologies in the age of AI
**Important:** This event will happen in real life in Copenhagen.
**Venue:** H9 - Halmtorvet 9, Copenhagen
This event is sponsored by the [Copenhagen Product Collective](https://www.cphproduct.com/).
**Team Topologies in the age of AI**
*The Future of Product Development*
What org charts don’t tell you about how software teams actually work, and what AI is starting to change.
Most conversations about AI in product development jump straight to tools and prompts.
And most conversations about team structure stay safely inside diagrams.
This meetup puts both on the same table. Because how we organize teams and how we build products are no longer separate questions.
## **You’ll leave with insights on:**
* How stream-aligned, platform, and enabling teams actually work in practice
* What Team Topologies means for the role of the product manager
* Where AI is already changing how teams collaborate and hand off work
* How team boundaries are starting to blur — and what that implies
* Whether current team structures will hold up in an AI-augmented world
Expect concrete insights, honest trade-offs, and a conversation that connects today’s best practices with what might break next.
We will have two exciting speakers lined up, each offering a unique perspective on how to organize product teams in the age of AI. Speakers are:
1. **Jesper Just Jsenen** – *How to best restructure a complex product organization in the age of AI*
Jesper shares how Milestone Systems has approached restructuring a complex product organization using Team Topologies:
* What drove the change
* How teams are structured in practice
* What worked — and what didn’t
* What it means for product managers
2. **Kasper Junge** - *How AI is reshaping how we organise product*
Kasper explores how AI is already influencing team structure:
* Where AI sits in product teams today
* How it’s dissolving traditional boundaries and handoffs
* What the near future might look like: smaller teams, new roles, new topologies
* The open question: *does Team Topologies still hold in an AI world?*
Join us at **H9** for an evening of practitioner perspectives, sharp thinking, and good conversations with fellow product people in Copenhagen.
Our good friends at the [Copenhagen Product Collective](https://www.cphproduct.com/) are making sure the bar is full and free. 🙏
The event is powered by [Learning Loop](https://learningloop.io/).
**AGENDA:**
* Intro (and who’s participating)
* **Jesper Just Jensen** – *How to best restructure a complex product organization in the age of AI*
* Beer break
* **Kasper Junge** - *How AI is reshaping how we organise product*
* More Networking
* Thanks for tonight

**Co-working for writers in Amager!**
Join us for an hour of focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in the area.
We meet in this lovely spacious café, chilled out, usually not very busy at this time, with an on-site bakery of delicious pastries. Once everyone is here and settled, I will lead a quick introduction, and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session.
After the hour is up feel free to chat / take off / keep writing if you're on a roll. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers, and it can be a great way to learn from eachother.
**A note about the format**

Wild Technology (!) — Bioengineering, Enhancement, Acceleration & Future Humans
**“Wild Technology (!) — Beyond AI, Beyond Control?”**
Bioengineering, Enhancement, Acceleration, and the Future of Being Human
Technology is no longer just something we *use*. It’s something that reshapes bodies, minds, and even evolution itself. From gene editing and brain–computer interfaces to synthetic life and runaway AI, we’re entering a phase where the boundaries of the human are no longer fixed.
This isn’t a futurist hype session or a tech demo. It’s a philosophical conversation about limits, responsibility, and what it means to remain human in a world of radical technological power.
***
**Topics we’ll touch on:**
* Beyond AI: bioengineering, gene editing, and human enhancement
* Are we improving humanity—or redesigning it?
* Who gets access to enhancement—and who is left behind?
* Is there such a thing as “playing God,” or is that fear outdated?
* Do moral limits still apply when technology moves faster than ethics?
* What happens when evolution becomes a design choice?
* And finally… is there a point where technology stops serving life—and starts redefining it?
Casual discussion. No technical background required—just curiosity and a willingness to think boldly and carefully at the same time. Whether you feel excited, uneasy, inspired, or alarmed—you’re not alone.
Let’s explore the edge of the possible—and ask where, if anywhere, we should draw the line.

Silvers Dinners Wednesdays
Tickets here: [www.TheSilvers.dk](www.thesilvers.dk)
Here in Copenhagen we have started a movement of weekly dinners (on a Wednesday) hosted by the senior generation in their own homes.
Seniors with 60+ years of life experience who are community leaders, intellectuals, artists, storytellers, and want to share their experience over dinners for a small group each time.
Every Wednesday there is dinner hosted by a different Silver (senior host) who will open their front door, welcome a group of 5-8 people into their home, and share their stories, knowledge, and connections across the table over a themed evening.
Each host chooses their own theme and it is the aim to pass on their hard-earned knowledge.

Drunken
This month's prompt concerns the idea of the “warrior philosopher” (seemed appropriate in these times)--that is someone whose understanding of violence, power, and justice is forged through direct experience of war. We are looking at Major General Smedley D. Butler, a highly decorated U.S. Marine raised in a Quaker (pacifist) tradition who later became a prominent critic of American militarism (there is a wonderful biography of Gen. Butler called "Gangsters of Capitalism")
Butler's argument in *War Is a Racket* (1935): that many U.S. interventions were driven less by national defense than by corporate and financial interests, with Butler portraying himself as an enforcer for business and Wall Street. We can consider the moral ambiguity of his insider critique—whether complicity strengthens or undermines credibility and also consider some of the concrete reforms he proposed (e.g., “conscript” capital before soldiers, restrict the military to coastal defense, and have only those who fight decide on war).
Butler’s life arc clearly changed from pacifist upbringing to warrior to antiwar crusader—and asks whether true understanding of peace requires firsthand knowledge of war, and what that implies about the cost of suffering. So do we need to suffer to understand suffering? Do we have to experience war to appreciate peace? As one more question: in the movie "A Few Good Men" Jack Nicholson's character says that "you have the luxury of not knowing what I know" so do most of us go through life oblivious to real violence and suffering? See you at Drunken Philosophy!
