**R User Group Nepal** and **Kathmandu University Biotechnology Creatives** invite students to a multi-day, hands-on hybrid workshop. 🎯 **Objectives:** A practical, beginner-friendly introduction to R programming designed for students in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Public Health, and related fields. As the organizer of the R User Group Nepal, he actively promotes the use of open-source tools for data science and biostatistics in his home country.

While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome! The aim of this group is to get together and practice our German. Doesn’t matter if are a beginner or a native speaker. The goal is to speak and improve our German. Everyone is welcome! If the weather is good, look for us in the Biergarten. Pro Tip: Get there before 6:00 for happy hour pricing.

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
