Questo mese testiamo un nuovo formato, quello del panel. Per questo motivo, questo mese 4 speaker diversi discuteranno e condivideranno il modo in cui usano l’AI al lavoro. L’AI per molte persone è uno degli alleati più importanti sul posto di lavoro: bisogna però saperla usare con criterio ed etica per ottenerne il meglio. Emissionsdaten aus verschiedenen Quellen erfassen, zusammenbringen, aggregieren und visuell darstellen. Eine Anforderung, die in vielen Unternehmen existiert und sich alle wünschen. Wie das geht, zeigt Stefanie am Beispiel des GreenOps Reports für die EnBW. Sie erläutert ganz praktisch welche Datenquellen (Azure, AWS, Datacenter, Endgeräte) an das Power BI Reporting angebunden wurden und welche Quellen noch in Zukunft angebunden werden. Das ermöglicht ein vollständiges Bild zum IT Fußabdruck der EnBW zu erhalten. Zudem zeigt sie auf, wie sie bei der Validierung der CO2e Zahlen in Zusammenarbeit mit externen Firmen wie resilio und eco:digit vorgegangen ist und auf welche Ergebnisse die EnBW bei der Validierung gestoßen sind. Der Abend wird ein Mix aus Praxis-Bericht, Show Cases und How-To sein. Join us on an epic journey from the depths of raw, normalized tables to the shining halls of a well-modeled star schema fit for Power BI greatness. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again. We will cover the different types of dimensions, when to use them, and how to handle Slowly Changing Dimensions without losing your mind. You will leave knowing exactly how to identify a bad model, how to convert OLTP data into a clean star schema, and how to forge relationships that rule them all. Whether you are a data wizard, a curious hobbit, or somewhere in between, your models will never be the same.

Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
