ComedyShorts Berlin is fast-paced competitive improv comedy-match played like a sporting event. Two teams go head-to-head in a playful, highly interactive battle-of-wits where the audience yells out suggestions all night and votes for which team brings on the ‘funny.’ ComedyShorts returns to the 800a for another night of wild lively fun between the teams and the audience. This show is also the 62nd Birthday Celebration for Brian Kapell, the founder of CS, and a founding-father of 'short-form improv,' going strong after 41 years of playing these games. Come and make some noise with Brian and the team. The group performs in English, has been putting on shows since 2005 and has featured many of Berlin’s top improv talent over the years. **Join us for outdoor grass volleyball in Hasenheide park!** This event is not suitable for complete beginners. We play with two nets. The "chill court" is for mixed-level play with 3v3 up to 5v5. The "competitive court" is for higher-level 2v2 play with beach rules. Be sure to wear suitable sports clothing and perhaps bring a drink. There are no facilities such as changing rooms and showers in the park. A nearby public toilet is also available, but it might be closed, dirty, or not have toilet paper. **Location**: We play in the narrow clearing, located between the two paths in the center of Hasenheide park, on the southern side. **Join us for spikeball at a sunny spot in the Hasenheide park!** Everyone from beginners to intermediate players is welcome. If you are a try-hard pro, this event is not for you. Spikeball is played with four people. The rules are like two vs two volleyball, except instead of hitting a ball *over* a net, you’ll be hitting the ball *onto* the net. The ball will bounce off the net, and the other team will have a chance to return it. You do not need to bring any equipment. Sports clothing, shoes that allow for quick movement on grass, and a drink are recommended.
