hike Rigi Hochflue + a concert in Ingelbohl (first difficult hike of the season)
hike Rigi Hochflue + a concert in Ingelbohl (first difficult hike of the season)
**hike description:** We start at the train station Arth-Goldau. This hike is more difficult and "scarier" than the hikes we did recently. But because it is the first difficult hike of the season, I planned much more than enough time. Because a part of the hike is T4, if you want to join, you must at least have done a T3 hike before, or If you really want to join and you don't have t3 experience, you can take the parallel path without going through Rigi Hochflue (direct path between point 3 and 6 on the map), but you will probably have to wait for the rest of the group a little. As usual you need to be fit and have hiking good shoes Once we reach Gersau, it is an easy hike along the shore. We can make a break here and swim and then slowly go to Ingelbohl for the concert. https://www.komoot.com/tour/2834040563?ref=aso&share_token=aa0wR9knckHsU0dlmNXVqB3UdYfwCxl46tIwSa600UiCNIKtwE **More information about the concert** It is free but donation are welcome. Inlineskaten Greifensee
Inlineskaten Greifensee

ZH3 Hash # 1721: The Gladiator-Chuggins 69th Birthday Hash
ZH3 Hash # 1721: The Gladiator-Chuggins 69th Birthday Hash
Hares are Gladiator and Merry Chuggins. Despite possessing only one braincell between them, these B.I.M.B.Os have somehow not only survived until adulthood, but made it to milestone birthdays! Chuggins is turning 30 and Gladiator will be... very slightly older. The important thing is that for this hash, their combined age will be a glorious 69! So come and celebrate with more shot stops than is really feasible and a karaoke afterparty. Meet at Mobility Carsharing by 25Hours Hotel Langstrasse. On-after at Old Gregory's Pub. **Where**: Zurich City Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** We'll meet at 1:50 pm to start at 2:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. 🌸 Join Us for a Spring Hike Through History and Legend! April is here, the hills are waking up, and there's no better way to celebrate the season than a fantastic day out in the fresh spring air! Come join us for a hike through one of the region's most scenic and storied landscapes — wildflowers in bloom, birdsong in the trees, and the smell of the forest after a spring shower. Pure bliss. From there we cross over to Berenberg — where we'll explore the atmospheric ruins of the former Monastery Berenberg, a truly magical spot steeped in centuries of history. From there, we descend into charming Wülflingen and push back up through lush spring forest trails towards Töss. The highlight? Passing through the legendary Totentäli — a place wrapped in myth and mystery — now featuring a brand-new bridge over the ponds. With the spring light filtering through the trees, it promises to be simply breathtaking. Hike Blacklick Woods and The Canopy. Optional lunch after.
Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.

Columbus Arduino Raspberry Pi Enthusiasts (CARPE) (Check Location)
Bring your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontroller, or any other electronic project and join fellow electronics makers for a night of creativity and collaboration! This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
