Our community is all about creating authentic in-person connections in this urban jungle. Come as you are... it’s the best version of yourself. **ABOUT THE EVENT** This event is a fun, communal event to train your creative writing muscle. **It's easy and fun, and writers with every level of expertise and every kind of experience are wleomce to join!** This is how it works: Everyone will receive a prompt, and they will need to write a short piece based on that for about 45 minutes to 1h. After that, everyone will read or listen to what the others have written, and we will comment and discuss. We don't aim at criticizing, but at helping and elevating each other. Writing should be fun; writing together is even funnier! Sharing what you have written is optional. You can just join to unleash your creativity and follow the conversation on other's creative journeys. We meet for a circa 2,5 hour session at Mad for Coffee in Cipete for our creative writing challenges. The writing challenge is as follows: 1. Prepare your writing kit (pen and paper, notebook, laptop, phone … take your pick) 2. The theme for each writing challenge session will be different. (For example: “Fools". You can refer to anything you like, from April Fool’s Day to simply feeling silly for doing something.) 3. You have only 45 minutes to 1 h to write anything based on that theme, whether it’s a poem, a flash fiction, a short story, or just a rant. 4. After that time, gather and start sharing what you have just written. (This is, of course, **optional** for those willing to do it.) 5. At the end we will discuss our writing process, and what we liked in other's pieces. We don't want to criticize, but to help and support each others as writers! 6. Just show up and dive into the challenge. Everyone will be working on their stuff, and we won't discuss it during writing. You’ll surprise yourself with what you can do in such a short time. **Be on time.** After the sharing session, you’re welcome to resume your writing mode or simply hang out and chat about writing or anything related. Join us for a night of board gaming with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). **We are an all fem board game group** in Columbus, Ohio. No cis-men, please! We play modern hobby board games! If you're unsure what that is, we can teach you! We'll be meeting at Round Table Games in Dublin! They have snacks and drink. They allow outside food if you want more than a snack. We will be playing in the store on the right when you walk in!

Let’s walk the gardens and enjoy what has spring has on display.

Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.

We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).

A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now. Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back. The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. What to Expect • A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) • Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak • Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving • Optional creative reflection alongside conversation • A calm, supportive environment Who This Is For Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords.
