Join us for a peaceful morning walk around beautiful Lake Pflugerville — one of Austin's most scenic spots just a short drive from the city. This is one of our favorite routes: flat, shaded in stretches, and just the right length for good conversation and a natural reset. Whether you're a regular or joining us for the first time, you'll find easy company and a warm pace. Here's what to expect: **The Trail:** It's a 2.9-mile loop with only about 42 feet of elevation gain — essentially flat the whole way. The surface starts as concrete near the main entrance and transitions to decomposed granite, making it easy for walkers of all paces. **Sun Exposure** The trail has lot's of sun exposure, so sunscreen and a hat is recommended. **The Vibe:** It's a wide, well-maintained path shared by walkers, runners, cyclists, and dog lovers. Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear. We are a real world Martial arts group. \ Called DO JUNG ISHU (the art of fighting) \ Based off of Jeet kune do we just continued where Bruce Lee left off. \ We have been around a while. \ We are donation based.
