This is our weekly event! ----------------- Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:25 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will find a place for you. Don't worry, we are an open and friendly group. Der perfekte Wochenend-Ausklang für alle, die nicht aufhören wollen zu lachen. **Lachflash Comedy Open Mic** ist das große Finale des Wochenendes. Hier bekommst du einen wilden Mix aus **Newcomern**, die ihre ersten Schritte auf der Bühne machen, und **erfahrenen Comedians**, die neues Material ausprobieren. Manchmal entstehen hier Jokes, die in ein Jahr später in Specials oder Fernsehsendungen landen. Manchmal scheitert ein Gag glorreich – und genau das sorgt für die lautesten Lacher des Abends. Mit **vielen Comedians pro Show** (oft mehr als 10!) erwartet dich ein abwechslungsreicher Abend: * Überraschende neue Stimmen, die dich mit ganz frischem Humor überraschen * Kreative Experimente, die kein Mainstream-Comedy-Club sich trauen würde * Scharfe Pointen von erfahrenen Comedians, die genau wissen, wie man eine Crowd zum Toben bringt Kein Sonntag gleicht dem anderen. Und **Lachflash Comedy Open Mic** ist Wiens neue Adresse dafür am Sonntag. ## 🍻 The Comedy Pub – Das Zuhause der Stand-up-Comedy in Wien Die Show findet im **The Comedy Pub** (Kettenbrückengasse 7, 1050 Wien) statt – Wiens erster und einziger echter Comedy-Club. Während andere Bars ab und zu Comedy hosten, ist das hier das Zentrum einer Szene. Oben erwartet dich ein gemütlicher Irish Pub mit Drinks, Snacks und freundlicher Atmosphäre. Unten im Altbaukeller – oder im offenen Pub-Bereich – wird jede Woche Stand-up gespielt, getestet und gefeiert. Die Location ist bekannt für ihr **nahbares, internationales Publikum** und ihr warmes, intimes Ambiente. Und das Beste: mit der U-Bahn-Station **Kettenbrückengasse (U4)** direkt vor der Tür bist du in wenigen Minuten mitten im Geschehen. ## 💡 Eintritt frei – Spenden willkommen Comedy lebt von Community. Hi everyone, On **Sunday, April 5**, 2026, I’m planning a beautiful spring hike in the UNESCO World Heritage region of Wachau, following a scenic **circular route** **from Krems** via the Hohen Markstein, the Fesslhütte and the famous **castle ruins of Dürnstein**, before **returning to** **Krems**. Along the way, we pass quiet natural areas, historic stone vineyard terraces, and enjoy wide panoramic views before returning to the charming town of Krems. This hike is all about **walking, wide views, and enjoying the landscape together** — with plenty of time for conversation, short breaks, and simply being outdoors. **Fitness Note:** Although we will walk at a relaxed pace, the hike requires moderate physical effort due to its length (about 18 km). The trails themselves are not technically difficult, but a reasonable level of fitness is needed to comfortably complete the distance. **Highlights** 🌄 Beautiful walk from historic **Krems to Dürnstein** through classic Wachau vineyard scenery 🏘️ Charming old towns of **Krems and Stein** with narrow streets and centuries-old architecture 🏰 Visit the famous **castle ruins of Dürnstein**, where King Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned 🌸 Late March to mid-April is peak season for the famous **Wachau Marillenblüte (apricot blossoms)**. With a bit of luck, we’ll walk right through blooming apricot trees — one of the most beautiful sights of spring in Austria **Meeting Point & Travel** 📍 **Meeting point:** Franz-Josefs-Bahn station at **07:30 a.m.**, near the ticket machines to buy the group ticket. If you arrive too late for the group ticket you have to buy your own ticket individually, the best choice is likely the **VOR Freizeitticket**. Information regarding the tickets at the end of the post. The train leaves at **08:00** from **Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof**. We will arrive in **Krems** at **09:08**. **Hike Details** **Duration:** Approx. 6.5 hours (pure walking time) **Distance:** Approx. 18 km **Elevation:** 300m up / 300m down **Difficulty:** **Medium** (partly considered demanding due to the length) More information on the trail: https://www.bahn-zum-berg.at/waldviertel/fesslrunde-von-krems/ Trains back from Krems to Vienna run every hour. **What to Expect** We’ll walk together at a **relaxed, social pace**, staying as a group throughout the day. This is **not a race or performance hike** — the focus is on shared experience, conversation, and enjoying the landscape at an unhurried rhythm. We’ll take regular short breaks whenever useful. 🥪 We don’t plan to stop at huts or restaurants during the hike, so please bring your own snacks and drinks (at least **1.5 liters of water**). 🌧️ Weather can be changeable, so **basic rain protection is recommended**. 🥾 Please wear **sturdy hiking shoes**. Some sections may be muddy, depending on the weather. 🦯 Trekking poles can be a great help for extra stability if we encounter any muddy patches. Please note that **there are no public toilets on the trail itself**. There is a public toilet in **Dürnstein** before we start the hike and another one in **Krems** at the end. If we are lucky, we may also pass an open **Heuriger** along the way. **Important Notes** ⚠️ **Disclaimer:** As always, this is a free, private leisure activity. We will form these groups at the meeting point at 07:30; please be on time if you want to participate. You must travel together for both the departure and the return journey. You cannot split off and take a different train home if you are on a group ticket. **The cost:** The more people in a group, the cheaper it gets. Expect to pay between €10 and €19 per person. To be fair, we can either pay by specific group size or pool all the money and split it equally. **Cash is mandatory:** Please bring physical cash and coins. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
