**Invitation** **We are the instruments.** A participatory, improvised, embodied practice that reconnects us to one another through rhythm, voice, and play. This is a guided yet fully improvised experience, using the facilitation tools and methods of [Musica do Circulo](https://www.musicadocirculo.com/en). No prior experience is required, only an openness to connect with other humans in your own fun, light and authentic way. Circle songs are an invitation into a fully immersive, fully improvised musical experience using vocals, body percussion and movement. It draws inspiration from musical embodied rhythm practices from around the world, including call-and-response singing, rhythmic clapping games and circle song traditions. *"We are doing something that is so human and so needed, something that we've forgotten." - Igor, circle participant May 2025* Simply by standing in a circle and connecting with our bodies as our instruments, we are reminded that we can find joy and meaning right here in this present moment, and in the next. **This event is donation-based. A casual (but coordinated) coffee break to meet new friends, take a Zoom break, and get your AM caffeine fix. Stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time. Bring a friend or wander in solo. Come for the coffee and company, or just bring a book to read while surrounded by other in-real-life, community-seeking humans. Come by every Friday, or just when you happen to be in town. Make it whatever you need it to be that week. It's not an \*event\* per se, but we hope these Friday meet-ups can become a fixture of the bookshop! Yo no soy poeta (y no hace falta) Taller de poesía en taller / galería de arte Si escribes relatos, diarios o pensamientos sueltos… este taller es para ti. Durante la sesión exploraremos la poesía como una forma de mirar y de sentir. Trabajaremos con ejercicios prácticos que conectan palabra y arte: Transformar un texto narrativo en poema. Escribir a partir de imágenes y obras del espacio. Experimentar con ritmo y musicalidad sin reglas rígidas. No es un taller teórico. Es un espacio para escribir, probar y descubrir nuevas posibilidades dentro de tu propia voz. El encuentro se realiza en Drapaire Art, un taller / galería donde conviven pintura, ilustración y creación literaria.
