- Insights from Impact Week Jordan 2023ETH Zürich, Gebäude ML, 8092 Zürich
Fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and intercultural exchange through Design Thinking is the goal of Impact Week. Running an Entrepreneurship Program for 100 students in emerging countries itself presents a significant challenge and offers valuable lessons about different cultures.
It's also enjoyable to lay the groundwork so that ideas can ignite, flourish, and evolve into services and products with excellent user experiences and a positive impact.
In 2023, Impact Week Jordan took place amidst the ongoing conflict in the region between Israel and Gaza. This had a significant influence on running the program as we had to navigate through numerous uncertainties.
The challenge for the team of organizers, and for me as the lead coach, was to find the balance between sticking to the program, making changes, and adapting or canceling parts always keeping in mind the learning journey for the students and junior coaches. I would like to share my experience and insights into leading international entrepreneurship programs, managing unexpected situations, and laying the foundation to bring great ideas to life together.
