Fuad Ibrahimov: Zero Trust Data Access Management with AWS Serverless

Traditional application data access patterns assume application servers to have almost admin level rights to read/write data from/to the backend data storage systems. In this talk we will explore the possibilities of how to improve this and apply Zero Trust principles to data access patterns by leveraging Serverless technologies on AWS.

A case study: implementing a download portal for delivering big, customer-specific, protected binaries worldwide.

While you can use AWS as a glorified datacenter with ec2 (computing), S3 (storage), VPC (networking), you can gain much more by using higher level AWS services, which suit your specific use case.
