This meetup features two technical sessions from experts at msg systems ag.***
## Scaling AWS Lambda for Large Data Exports: Parallelization and Chunked Uploads
Speaker: Alexandra Konovalova
Duration: 20 minutes
Technical level: Level 200 – Advanced usersAWS Lambda is a powerful building block for modern data engineering, but processing large datasets often exposes limitations in execution time, memory, and ephemeral storage.
Using a database-to-Amazon S3 export as a real-world example, Alexandra will present a scalable and resilient serverless architecture built with AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions.
You’ll learn how the Step Functions Map state enables parallel processing across multiple database tables while efficiently streaming results to Amazon S3. The session also covers architectural patterns, implementation best practices, and lessons learned from building high-performance serverless data pipelines.
### About Alexandra
Alexandra Konovalova is a Senior Engineer with more than six years of experience building cloud-native data platforms across industries including insurance, banking, and logistics. She owns the end-to-end delivery of technical projects and combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

## Data Streaming for Real-Time AI Agents with SAP Datasphere and AWS
Speaker: Judith Kelm
Duration: 20 minutes
Technical level: Level 300 – Deep diveHow can SAP business data become the foundation for real-time AI use cases?
Judith will present an event-driven AWS architecture that streams data from SAP Datasphere using Amazon MSK and Amazon Data Firehose, enabling Amazon Bedrock agents to react to business events in real time.
Using a finance-focused example, the session demonstrates how streaming data can help AI agents make better decisions—even when the available business context is incomplete.
### About Judith
Judith Kelm is a Cloud Data Architect at msg systems ag, where she designs scalable enterprise data solutions for complex business environments. Her expertise spans cloud data platforms and solution architecture for analytics and AI use cases.
🔗 msg Data & Analytics***
Whether you’re building serverless data pipelines, working with enterprise data platforms, or exploring real-time generative AI, this meetup offers practical architectural insights and lessons from real-world projects.
We look forward to seeing you in Cologne!Best regards,
