Johannes Gesenhues: Seamless Cloud Migration for the OBI Shop
This talk will be about how we prepared the migration of the OBI Online shop to the cloud by setting up CloudFront, Amazon EKS, and Direct Connect to ensure a smooth transition for our teams. Johannes will present and discuss the architecture and lessons learned on our path to the cloud.Johannes Gesenhues' career began as a Fullstack Java/Javascript developer in 2015. In 2017 he kicked of the DevOps journey with OBI. In 2019 he was responsible for moving the OBI Shop Infrastructure into AWS. With his team, he is now as the Expert Lead for Cloud and DevOps responsible for providing the OBI DevOps platform stack.
