Über uns
We are a community of PHP developers, enthusiasts, and learners in Berlin. For over 13 years, our group has been a vital part of Berlin's tech landscape, helping developers grow and connect.
As Cal Evans wisely wrote: "The community is not a physical entity, it is a living organism. When it works, it is because the people that make up the community are working together to make it work."
This is exactly what we do at Berlin PHP UG. We:
- Meet regularly to share knowledge and experiences
- Welcome developers of all skill levels
- Connect with companies who support the PHP community
- Learn from each other through talks and discussions
- Create networking opportunities for PHP professionals
Whether you're just starting with PHP or you are an experienced developer, you'll find value in our meetups. Companies interested in hosting our events or developers wanting to give talks are always welcome to reach out.
We focus on creating an open, welcoming space where everyone can learn and grow together.
Join us to be part of Berlin's active PHP community!

Talk 1: Democratic Architecture by Stefan Priebsch
When we see architecture as a shared guide rather than a rigid blueprint, we can build systems that are both flexible and robust. This approach also encourages collaboration, where everyone contributes ideas instead of simply following top-down rules. By keeping the core architecture separate from the actual implementation, we can adapt more easily to new requirements and technologies—making sure the system remains useful in the long run and stays aligned with business goals.Talk 2: Celebrating Community by Anne Seitz
During the relaunch of the bephpug.de website, Anne reflected on our community and learned some valuable insights that she wants to share. The Berlin PHP community has been meeting for over 13 years now - that's a 13-year tradition of knowledge sharing - and we take the time to celebrate all the people who made this happen.Don't miss this chance to connect with fellow PHP peers! We look forward to seeing you there!
