Python 1: Basics

This is a learning series to teach beginners and refresh veterans about the capabilities of the python programming language. Everyone is welcome and the materials will be provided after sessions.

Please bring a laptop with python3 installed (https://www.python.org/downloads/)
and an IDE of your choice. Sample one: https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/

Post any questions before the meetup in the comments below. Please arrive at 6:30 pm if you need setup help. 7 pm we will start the meetup talk and live coding.
